Strategic Plan
First State Wave has developed a three-year strategic framework to support responsible growth and long-term sustainability.
Our five strategic priorities are:
Governance and Sustainability: Establish sound leadership, financial controls, compliance practices, and long-term organizational capacity.
Fundraising and Financial Resources: Develop sustainable revenue through donations, sponsorships, grants, and community fundraising.
Athlete Support and Development: Provide eligible assistance for equipment, training, competition, travel, and other mission-aligned needs.
Family and Community Engagement: Recruit volunteers, strengthen partnerships, gather community feedback, and expand introductory opportunities.
Statewide Growth and Impact: Evaluate new programs, competitive-development opportunities, and partnerships that advance water polo throughout Delaware.
Progress will be reviewed regularly, with decisions based on our mission, available resources, and the needs of the Delaware water polo community.
